This is our first time to Disney and I am feeling SO overwhelmed just planning.... my biggest question is about the park passes. If I purchase the park hopper and water park passes, can we bounce from place to place the whole 7 days, or is there a limit?

Congratulations on your upcoming first trip to Walt Disney World.

Planning a trip to WDW can be overwhelming and I'm happy to help you with your Magic Your Way ticket questions.

First, you'll need to decide how many days you will be touring the major parks. These parks are the Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If you are staying for 7 nights, for example, and will only be touring the above parks for 5 days, then you'll want the 5 day Magic Your Way base ticket.

If you add the park hopper option to your ticket, you can now visit more than one of the major parks in a single day. For instance, you may want to tour the Magic Kingdom in the morning, take a mid-day break and then visit Epcot in the evening.

Adding the Water Park Fun and more option to your tickets, gives you separate admission to Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, DisneyQuest, ESPN Wide World of Sports or a round of golf at Oak Trail (reservation required).

Using our above example with a 5 day Magic Your Way base ticket, the Water Park Fun and More option would give you 5 visits to the Water Park Fun and More attractions. These are great to utilize on days that you need a break from the major parks. Visiting a water park in the morning and afternoon, then DisneyQuest in the evening would subtract 2 of your 5 admissions.

If you will be touring a major park all 7 days, you'll need the 7 day Magic Your way ticket. Add the park hopper, if needed.

If you add the Water Park Fun and More option to a 7 day ticket, you'll have seven separate admissions to the Water Park Fun and More attractions. It would be exhausting to try and use them all along with touring the major parks for 7 days.

A more economical plan would be to tour the major parks and Water Park Fun and More attractions on separate days.
