Its our first time to Disney as a family, however figuring out costs, it is almost half the cost of just buying a Disney timeshare. What are your thoughts?

Howdy Walter!  I will begin by stating that I am completely biased.  Disney Vacation Club is a great value and your calculations could be correct based on the initial purchase.  We have been Members since 1997 and I would highly encourage you to look into the Disney Vacation Club further.

If spending time on family vacations is something you value and plan to do often, the Disney Vacation Club may be a perfect fit for your family.

Contact the Cast Members at Disney Vacation Club and they will answer all of your questions.  There is no high-pressure sales pitch.  They will explain what Membership is all about and give you details of the costs, explain the points system and introduce you to the Disney Vacation Club Resorts and other collections available to DVC Members.  They will then let you evaluate if it's a good fit for your family and the way you vacation.

I could go on and on but I want you to make the decision that is best for you and your family.  Please let me know what you decide about Disney Vacation Club and let me know if you have any further questions.

Enjoy your first magical vacation to Walt Disney World as a family!
