Hi! First time Disney Cruisers that will be on the July-July 6 Bahamas cruise on the Magic! How do we know which night will be our pirate night? Do we have a formal/semi formal night? Anything special for 4th of July? 😀

Ahoy there, Alexandra! Thanks for cruising by planDisney. You're about to embark on some serious fun aboard the Disney Magic, and I'm so glad you brought us your question!

My planDisney pal Kristi is the queen of themed deck parties and took some of the best pictures when we cruised together in December. Deck parties are one of the many reasons why Disney Cruises are leagues above the rest! Alexandra, I took a peek at the schedule for your Disney cruise, and it looks like you will have not one but two themed deck parties! The Magic is scheduled for swashbuckling fun with Pirate Night on Night 2 of your cruise and a patriotic Fourth of July party on Night 4. It is rare, but these entertainment schedules can sometimes change. So be sure to double-check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard.

Alexandra, on Night 3 of your cruise there is an optional dress-up night. So dust off your finest and dress to impress. I think this would be a perfect night to snap some photos with your favorite Disney characters! I always take a peak in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App in the morning to help me track down my favorite characters throughout the day. Bonus tip: If you heart or favorite an activity in the app, it will notify you when it is time for that activity! How convenient is that?

Alexandra, I hope you have a most magical cruise. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I'd be happy to help!

    Happy sailing,
    Melissa
