I am a first time Disney Cruiser and was looking at doing the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter in the Bahamas. It says that we disembark the ship at 8:30am and the only time left to select is 7:45am. How does that work?

    Hi Aimee!

Bravo for being a first time Disney cruiser! You are making all the right moves in coming to planDisney to ask about anything related to Disney Cruise Line. We are happy to help be your guide as you navigate the cruise planning waters.

There are so many great Port Adventures to choose from, I always have such a challenging time deciding between them all! Having done a dolphin experience before, I can safely say it is definitely fun and memorable for the whole family, especially for kids.

My guess is that you will be part of the Port Adventure group that departs for the Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Encounter that is slated for 8:30 A.M. In his infinite wisdom, Captain Mickey knows that Guests need to meet in advance of the time they need to disembark the ship, so your 7:45 A.M. slot likely means that you will be meeting up with your fellow Port Adventurers to get all squared away before getting off the ship. Just gives a bit of a buffer of time so everyone is all shipshape to go at departure time.

If you do have questions, I would suggest chatting with a Cast Member at the Port Adventures desk about it. You may first need to schedule a time to do this with Guest Services since most meetings like this are being handled using the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Guest Services will advise you on how to get in touch with the Port Adventures desk so you can verify your arrival time for your Port Adventure.

Please don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have any further questions. Wishing you a DREAM voyage and a thrilling dolphin experience!

    SEA ya real soon!
