It's going to be my first time on a Disney cruise. My 4.5 and 2.5 year olds are so excited already. I am planning on bringing a Baby Trend Sit N Stand stroller. Will I have problem storing it in the stateroom? Thanks!

    Hi there, Cintia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  WAHOO!!  You are going on a Disney Cruise Line vacation!  I am so very excited for you and all the fun that awaits you onboard!  Your little Mouseketeers are going to have the most magical time and you will LOVE LOVE LOVE experiencing it all alongside them!

When our boys were smaller, we always found it so helpful to have strollers with us – for use both onboard and at port!  When there are so many fun activities to do onboard, you may find yourselves hustling to make it from one end of the ship to the other and strollers came in handy then!  And, it’s always a plus to have a spot to keep them secure, not worrying about them darting off (or perhaps that is just my two crazy boys that do that…)!!  Inside your stateroom, there is an approximate clearance of 12 inches under the bed that you can store things.  We never had any problem storing umbrella sized strollers under the bed which kept them out of the way until we needed them.  Depending on the dimension of the stroller once collapsed, you may be able to store it there, otherwise you will want to tuck it away elsewhere in your stateroom and depending on the type of stateroom you have, that may or may not be easier said than done!  I always recommend bringing umbrella type strollers if at all possible for easy storage and easy getting around the ship as sometimes the hallways to the staterooms get a little narrow and congested when the stateroom hosts’ carts are lining the hallways.  We purchased some inexpensive ones that were solely used for the “Mickey Boat” and they held up very well and got the job done for us until they were too big to be contained!  But I also always recommend bringing what works for your kiddos and if that stroller is something that is comfortable and workable for your family, bring it!

Have you explored the onboard photo packages yet?!?  They are a great way to ensure that every memory made onboard makes it way home with you!  And I love taking advantage of them because it ensures that my husband and I make it into the photos as well!  Plus, if you purchase prior to your voyage you get a slight discount on your purchase.

If you have any other questions as you continue planning for your adventure with Captain Mickey, please come back and see us!

    Happy Sailing!
