Hi there, Shirley!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney Cruise Line vacation is just around the corner and I know you are busy getting everything packed and ready to go for your adventure on the high seas!
Packing AND trying to minimize wrinkling on your clothes is always a challenge and I have yet to figure out the trick! No matter what I try, I always end up with a wrinkled mess when I unpack my things! Unfortunately, a steamer falls into the same category as an iron, and Guests are prohibited from bring them onboard with them. But, luckily, there are
onboard laundry rooms with irons for you to use! Another option that I find myself doing more often than not is to simply send out my items for full-service pressing. If you just need your items pressed, it’s typically half the price of full dry-cleaning or laundry service and to me it’s worth it – mainly because they do a much better job AND I don’t have to take the extra time to do it! It’s vacation, after all!!
As you are packing, don’t forget your Halloween costumes for the
Halloween on the High Seas activities and your pirate gear for
Pirate Night! Although dressing up in costume is completely optional, we always have fun dressing for the themed nights – and it will also cut down on your clothes that need to be pressed…since its okay for pirates to have wrinkled clothes!
Have the most magical and memorable vacation on the high seas, Shirley! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
