Hello Karen,
How exciting that your first
Disney Cruise Line vacation is in sight! I am happy to report that, unlike many other cruise lines, with Disney,
soft drinks are included at no extra cost with meals. (This includes soda, ice tea, water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. I'm also happy to report that my 10 year-old niece was able to get what she deemed was the "world's best" Shirley Temple each night at dinner for no additional charge! There is also no charge for soft drinks (various sodas, coffee, tea, water, hot chocolate) at the beverage station on Deck 9 on the Magic and Wonder and Deck 11 on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream. These stations are available 24 hours a day. In addition, if you have teens at Vibe, the teen-only lounge also has complimentary soft drinks. There are a number of
beer and wine packages that you can order before sailing via the gifts and amenities site. As an example, the classic wine package includes three bottles of wine for $97. In addition, Disney Cruise Line offers a beer mug package in which you will receive a Disney Cruise Line-branded beer mug to any onboard bar to receive a 21 ounce refill of beer for the cost of a 16 ounce beer. If you don't want to carry the mug, you can receive a beer "token" in lieu.
Have a magical trip!
