Hi there, Karen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so happy that you stopped by for advise on planning your very first vacation to
The Place Where Dreams Come True! If you haven't already done so, my first recommendation is that you order your
Free Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD. I remember way back to my family's first trip and how much fun we had watching the DVD and picking out our must-do Attractions and Shows!
There are 4 major Theme Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. You've got Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. There are also 2 Water Parks, Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Depending on the length of your trip, I would recommend trying to spend one day at each of the 4 major Theme Parks with an extra day to re-visit your favorite Park a second time. We also like to allow half-a-day for shopping in the Downtown Disney District!
Disney's new Art of Animation Resort is a fun option for some really great theming along with plenty of space in your Suite. My best advice for you to find a great deal on your vacation is to keep a close eye on the
Special Offers section of the Walt Disney World website. Any time a new promotion is offered, you will be able to get a price quote right there on the website!
I'm just about out of room for this answer, but I'd sure love to help with any other vacation planning questions you have. Please don't hesitate to
send me a question directly if I can assist you further!
Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
