Hi moms, first time going to Disney in August with my family 5 adults and 6 kids (15,9,6,1,1 and 11 months). We're on a budget and need to pick 1 park and 1 waterpark. Please advice which parks to visit that will also be fun for the little ones. Thx!

    Hello Marcia,
I'm so thrilled to know you and your lovely family are planning your 1st ever visit to Walt Disney World Resort this coming August and with all those darling Mouseketeers it's sure to be very magical indeed!
My families most favourite theme park in the whole wide world is the Magic Kingdom Park; it's a place where everyone from the very young to simply the young at heart can enjoy a practically perfect day together as a complete family group. Be sure to catch Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade and the totally unmissable Wishes Nighttime Spectacular
And as for splashtastic watery fun... Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park gets my vote every time!  From the relaxing Castaway Creek lazy river to the amazing Shark Reef where you might encounter real Bonnethead and Leopard sharks while snorkelling through an overturned sunken tanker.  My top tip for visiting either of Disney's Water Parks is to arrive early to make is easier to find a shady spot in which to make camp for the day.
I thought you may find this Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones link to be a great extra planning resource for the younger members of your family.
