Going for first time Dec 07'09-Dec14'09. Have booked at the Pop Century with 7 day park hopper. Have no idea where to start to plan an itinery. I have a 3 year old and 6 year old girl. What are the must sees and I've heard that MK takes a couple days

Hi April!  Planning a vacation can seem daunting because of all the wonderful things you can do at Walt Disney World. My best advice to anyone coming for the first time is to not feel like they have to do it all!

Get to know the main website, www.disneyworld.com to see the park options and the extra resort recreation that is available. Since you will be there for seven days you can plan on visiting each park at least once.  Many families do plan several days at the Magic Kingdom because it can tend to be the most crowded and for your age children it will have the most attractions geared to them. But each park has many wonderful things to do for all ages and you can see the lists by clicking HERE. On the left side of the page click on RECOMMENDED AGES  to see Disney's filtered choices.  Make your personal list and become familiar with the park maps to know all attraction locations.

Make dining reservations before you go by calling 407-939-3463.  We choose our restaurants according to where we will be during the day to alleviate too much bus travel. You have many options between in park dining and resorts located nearby.

Be aware of the Extra Magic Hours for the parks.  This is a great time to visit as the crowds can tend to be less.  Also check the parade and firework and entertainment schedules for the days of your visit to help you plan what you want to see. Click on each day to see the complete listing.

Don't forget the other fun things to see and do while you are there from the water parks, resort recreation, and Downtown Disney.  There are lots of princess activities as well from special dining to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers.  You can find out more about all of this on the Disney site.
