Hi, Rusmini!
Congratulations on your upcoming Disney Cruise to the Mexican Riviera aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder! I'm actually sailing this itinerary very soon and am planning on zip-lining, too.
Since my 7-year-old is too little for this Port Adventure, we also are checking him into Disney's Oceaneer Club/Lab for this 1/2-day excursion. You'll be given specific information on a ticket in your stateroom about where/when to meet your tour guide and exactly the hours of your excursion. Yet, you can rest assured that your little ones will be happy, safe and well taken care of by the coolest counselors at sea. Use of these Youth Activities Spaces are included in the cruise fare, and there isn't a time limit on how long the kids stay in those areas. They'll have so much fun participating in arts and crafts, games and activities, visiting with Disney characters and enjoying yummy meals and treats. In fact, when I have left my little ones on board while I'm on a Port Adventure, I'm
always more anxious to see them than they are to see me!
You can register your children for Oceaneer's Club and Lab online at the
DisneyCruise.com Planning Center or once you're onboard. It makes no difference, and it's easy and quick either way. Also, to get a sneak peek inside the clubs, you may want to hop over to
Disney Cruise Line's YouTube Channel and watch our family's seven-day video diary of our voyage on the Disney Wonder this summer to Alaska. There you'll see what my little guy got to do while we were on a Port Adventure!
Let me know if you have other questions. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
