Ahoy there, Colin! Thank you for sailing by planDisney. One of the great things about reserving ground transfers with Disney Cruise Line is once they have your luggage on the motorcoach, you do not need to worry about it anymore until it shows up at your stateroom door later in the day.
Transportation starts at 10:00 AM on embarkation morning from the Orlando International Airport. You will need to collect your luggage at baggage claim and then proceed to Side B, Level 1 - Ground Transportation. I suggest
calling to reserve your transfer as soon as you make your flight reservation because ground transfers are limited. You will need to provide your flight details when you call so have that handy. If you decide not to use the cruise line's transportation, there are private transportation and rideshare options available.
Colin, make sure that your checked luggage does not include essential items prior to turning it over to Disney Cruise Line. Essential items should be placed in your carry on bag and may include medication and even your bathing suit if you want to hop in the pool soon after you embark. Please review the
prohibited items list to make sure you do not pack anything that may be removed.
If you have any other questions, sail back to visit
planDisney. My pals and I would love to help you get ready for your first Disney Cruise Line vacation!
