First time cruisers. Was wondering if the inside cabins on Disney Magic sleep 4 comfortably.2 adults and 12 and 9 year old. Or is it a better idea to get a larger ocean view room. Is there much difference in what deck you're on thinking about deck 1

    Ahoy Scott –
We are always so excited to hear about planning a Disney Cruise, and your pirate crew will absolutely love the Disney Magic. The Magic is a wonderful place to see the Disney difference when cruising and is full of amazing amenities. The Entertainment is out of sight on the Magic: your crew will enjoy fun deck parties, first run movies in the Buena Vista Theatre, Broadway style shows, and Character Meet and Greets onboard. My crew was particularly impressed with the Rotational Dining where we enjoyed Carioca’s which is unique to the Magic. Your sea pups can visit the amazing Youth Clubs like the Oceaneer Club and your tween can also visit Edge in addition to the Oceaneer Club.
My pirate crew has 2 adults and 2 children ages 5 and 11. We are very comfortable with Inside Staterooms and prefer them for cost reasons and also because they are completely dark overnight.  Since we are party-going pirates that dance all night, we love being able to sleep in and not have the sun wake us up at dawn. If your pirate crew loves to wake to up to the morning sun and the ocean, then the Oceanview Stateroom is a better choice for you. Both stateroom types have a queen sized bed for the parents and the sofa converts into a comfortable twin.  In the evening your stateroom host will pull down the bunk from the ceiling for your older sea pup.  We have stayed on many different decks, but due to logistics we prefer Decks 5-7 on the Magic and the Wonder in order to be close to the Youth Clubs and the restaurants. Deck 1 has a limited number of staterooms if you are considering it. Scott, good luck with your cruise planning and thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
