    We will be first time cruisers on the Disney Dream on June 1 with our 2 kids and are looking forward to 2 stops on Castaway Cay, but on Nassau our 21 yr old son wants to take an SUB tour not listed as a Disney excursion. Is this possible?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Yahoo! Congratulations on booking your inaugural voyage aboard (my favorite ship) the Disney Dream! You chose an extra Dream-y voyage because your pirate crew will be double-dipping with a second stop at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. Whenever we visit there, I never want to leave. Having the opportunity to visit the island a second time in the same voyage is my kind of itinerary!

    Your 21-year-old son will be able to take an excursion that's not offered through Disney Cruise Line while visiting Nassau, Bahamas if he'd like! I just want to mention that he should pay close attention to the "All Ashore" time and "All Aboard" time for the day you visit Nassau. He will want to leave more than enough time to get to his excursion and, most importantly, return back from his adventure in order to step aboard the Disney Dream before the "All Aboard" time. Captain Mickey runs a very punctual ship! Haha! Also, Disney Cruise Line doesn't provide beach towels for non-Disney Cruise Line excursions. This sounds like a splashtacular Port Adventure, so definitely have him pack a beach towel if one isn't provided for him on the excursion.
