Hi there, Chloe!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! It appEARs that you have a magical vacation planned with a cruise to end your time at the Walt Disney World Resort! You will love having your cruise after your busy days at the theme parks because I imagine you will welcome the relaxation that comes along with an adventure at sea!
Approximately three weeks before your voyage, you will receive a cruise documentation booklet and your
luggage tags in the mail. The cruise booklet will include all the details such as itinerary and onboard activities you have booked for your voyage. You will want to wait to affix the Disney Cruise Line luggage tags to your suitcases right before you head to
Port Canaveral for embarkation to avoid them being accidentally removed or lost.
Since this will be your first voyage with Captain Mickey, I recommend bringing a lanyard with you to keep your Key to the World Card in. The Key to the World card acts as your stateroom key and is used for any purchases you may make while onboard. Since you will want to have it with you most of the time, having it around your neck in a lanyard is very handy! Also make sure you have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded to your smartphone to access a full schedule of events, activities and entertainment onboard!
Wishing you the most magical adventure at Walt Disney World Resort and onboard the
Disney Dream! Come back with any other planning questions you may have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
