Hello! It is our first time coming to Disneyland and we have tickets to the Oogie Boogie bash. We will be able to get into California Adventure at 3 that day but that morning I would like to do the princess breakfast at Napa Rose. Will we be able to get in?

Hiya, Corinne, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

First off, congratulations on your family’s first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! You’re going to make so many special memories this fall. Be sure to stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park, or Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park, to get a complimentary "1st visit!" button!

You’ve made some wonderful planning choices, too, including the purchase of tickets to the all-new Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, and a special breakfast experience at Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures. Luckily, the adventurous breakfast takes place at Napa Rose, a luxurious restaurant located in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This Disney hotel is actually adjacent to Disney California Adventure Park, and has an exclusive entrance into the park as well. So, no theme-park tickets are required to enter the breakfast at Napa Rose. Reservations for Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures are recommended, and can be made up to 60 days before your arrival. You can book online, or by calling (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.

Then, with your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket, you can enter Disney California Adventure Park up to three hours before the event time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This way, you have plenty of time to enjoy your delicious breakfast experience! If you’re staying at the Grand Californian, you may even have time for a pool break before heading in to the Bash!

I did notice that there isn’t an Oogie Boogie Bash on your day of arrival (October 9, 2019), so you may just want to double check your dates. There is a Bash offered on October 10, 2019!

Lastly, I recommend downloading the Disneyland app, since it’s a great handy helper to use inside the parks. My family loves using it to find our favorite Characters, make dining reservations, check wait times, and even mobile order

Wishing you many happy haunts and royal welcomes at the Disneyland Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
