Hello Melissa,
Welcome to planDisney, where we help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort in August. The fun part of visiting Disney World in August is that the parks start transitioning into Halloween! Magic Kingdom Park hosts a
Halloween-themed After Hours Event during the witching season. It is excellent to experience the park with smaller crowds, shorter attraction lines, special cavalcades, and so much candy that your sweet tooth will be more than satisfied. As you finalize your plans for August, I would highly suggest adding that to your itinerary. I would be thrilled to help you look into this option further!
You will need both a valid theme park ticket and a
park pass reservation to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Great job purchasing your tickets already! Have you also booked your Disney Park Pass Reservations? If you haven’t yet, I walked through the
steps to book park pass reservations with my new friend Rosa.
There is an option to receive your tickets via mail to answer your question, but you had to have selected that when you checked out. If you didn’t, you would need to go to will call at one of the theme parks or Guest Relations at Disney Springs to get a physical ticket card.
There are two other options for getting your tickets without going to will call:
Disney MagicMobile and
MagicBands. MagicMobile, allows you to utilize your mobile device for a more contactless option to enter Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. If you are interested in this option, open the My Disney Experience app and click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. Next, select the Disney MagicMobile tile on the menu. On the next page, you will be able to link your already purchased tickets to the Disney MagicMobile pass. Customize your MagicMobile Pass with your favorite image and add it to your phone. Make sure that every member of your party is either linked through your device or their individual ones so you can create MagicMobile passes for every member of your party. If you are an Apple Watch wearer, this option is fantastic. No longer do you have to wear a MagicBand and an Apple Watch. If you choose MagicMobile, make sure that you bring a portable charging bank to the parks to keep your device fully charged from rope drop to park close. Another option for tickets is MagicBand (soon to be MagicBand+). With a MagicBand, you do not need a physical ticket to enter the park. All you need to do is make sure that your tickets and your chosen MagicBand are linked in your My Disney Experience account (you will need this to be done for each member of your party as well).
I hope that your question was answered and that you are ready to begin the next planning phase! I know you will have a magical vacation, and
I’m here to help in any way that you need.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
