First time bringing kids 2 WDW. Reserved Saratoga Springs 2BR 7 nites since we are a family of 6 - 16.15.12.10. It looked good since it is close to Downtown Disney. Wonder if Old Key West, An. King. Lodge, or Wild Lodge more fun? March 2008. Luv 2 swim

    Hi Janine!

I recently stayed in a two bedroom villa at the Saratoga Springs Resort and loved it.  While I have never stayed at the other villas you mentioned, I think that SSR will be perfect for your family!  If you haven't already, I recommend requesting a villa in the Congress Park section.  Walt Disney World cannot guarantee that you will get a room in that section; however, they will do their best to place you in that area.

If you are able to stay in Congress Park, you should have a fantastic view of Downtown Disney and be able to walk there in just 10 minutes!  Also at SSR you will find awesome pools, a community center, surrey bike rentals and more.  The only negative to SSR for me is the food court.  If your kids are picky eaters, they may have a hard time here.  The good news is that Downtown Disney is full of great, kid-friendly restaurants that should please everyone!  I think that you made the right choice and will have a fabulous time - have fun!

    Much pixie dust,

    Jackie S.
