This is my first time and I bought standard tickets but I am a Florida resident. I followed a link given by a friend to purchase tickets, however I didn’t see the Florida Resident option on that link. I found it as I scrolled on the app. Can I change it?

Hey there, Lishen, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s exciting to see that you are planning your first visit to The Walt Disney World Resort! I still remember my first visit to Walt Disney World like it was yesterday. Just know that your first trip may have you hooked!

Lishen, Walt Disney World is extremely generous to its Floridian neighbors - but this Alabamian is not hurt at all. When purchasing 3- or 4-day Theme Park Tickets, Florida residents can save 30% and 40%, respectively. When purchasing Theme Park Tickets, the tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, the amount paid for Theme Park Tickets never expires and can be applied to future purchases. I recommend that you speak with an Existing Tickets Cast Member at (407) 934-7639 for further assistance. The Cast Member will be able to share all of the options available to you. And you never know when a little pixie dust may land on your conversation. But I’m confident that your first visit to The Walt Disney World Resort will be a fantastic core memory!

I hope this helps, Lishen! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
