Hi, there!
Sabrina, I am just thrilled to hear you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season. It's an exceptionally magical time of year!
You are going to just love
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. With complimentary holiday treats, short wait times for popular attractions, and exclusive entertainment, it's a fa-la-la-la-fabulous celebration! I just attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last week with my family, and we had the very best time. We especially loved watching
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. You won't want to miss it!
You do not need a standard Theme Park Ticket or Park Hopper Ticket to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. All you need is an event ticket! The party begins at 7:00 PM, but in my experience, your event ticket will allow you entrance to Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 PM. I highly recommend arriving that early. My family entered Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 PM with our event tickets last week, and it gave us more time for magical experiences!
I have a few more tips for your visit to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party:
- Don't visit a theme park the day of your party. Guests at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party can stay in Magic Kingdom Park until midnight, and trust me, you'll want to stay every minute that you can! Conserve your energy that day by taking it easy at your Disney Resort hotel. Then you'll be ready to party with Mickey and his pals!
- Sit down for dinner before the party starts. My family and I didn't want to miss a moment of this special holiday event, so we ate dinner at Casey's Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. around 5:00 PM. Eating before the party started allowed us to maximize our time once it began!
- Pack a park bag. The complimentary cookies are so yummy, but my family couldn't eat all the treats we collected. We put some in a backpack during the party, and now we're enjoying them at home!
- My favorite viewing spot for Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. in front of Town Square Theater. Watching the parade pass through with a view of Magic Kingdom Park's beautiful Christmas tree in the background is just magical!
I hope this was helpful, Sabrina. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
