This will be our first time attending MNSSHP and we are so excited! Would you recommend booking fastpasses during the party or are the lines fairly short for attractions?

Hello Samara, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I am so excited to hear that your magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort will be here in just a few short weeks. Fall is one of my favorite times of year to visit because let’s be honest, it’s pumpkin everything time of year. The Magic Kingdom is already decked out in her fall finery and ready to welcome you to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Since this is a special ticketed event, there is no FastPass+ availability during the party. This is due to the fact that there is a limited number of tickets sold for this exclusive event so your wait times for open rides and attractions will be minimal. It will feel like you have a FastPass+ for everything. You will not want to miss the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and my personal favorite, the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show. There will be lots of hauntingly good entertainment during the night as well as a chance to do some trick-or-treating throughout the park. Several attractions will be showing their Halloween spirit with holiday-inspired surprises. The Mad Tea Party, Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean have added some ghoulish twists for your enjoyment. Mickey and his pals will be dressed in costume and invite you to dress up for the occasion too. Be sure to check out the official costuming guidelines for guests over 14 to ensure that everyone will have a spooktacular time.

    Happy Halloween,
