Hi, Christian! Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is a bunch of fun! I never realized how festive Halloween could be until I attended this party for the first time a couple of years ago! The decorations, special effects, and costumes are just awesome!
DO'S for MNSSHP:
-DO buy your tickets ahead of time, especially if you want the few days surrounding October 31. Dates do sell out, so if you don't want to miss the fun, plan ahead. Tickets can be purchased at
www.disneyworld.com or by calling (407)W-DISNEY.
-DO wear a costume if you are in the spirit! Of course, this is not required, but have some fun!
-DO plan on your kids Trick-or-Treating. There is a lot of candy just waiting for your kids to collect.
-DO make sure you see the parade - and be on time! The beginning of the parade is fabulous.
-DO make Advance Dining Reservations if you plan to eat in the park. Table Service locations will be booked to capacity. Call (407)WDW-DINE when you hit your 90 day booking window.
DON'T's for MNSSHP:
-Adults should NOT wear inappropriate costumes or carry toy weapons. These will not be permitted in the parks
-DON'T overdress your little ones! A furry teddy bear costume might be great for a Northern Halloween, but this is Florida and it can be hot and humid so a light costume is best. Plan to have a change of clothes in case they tire of their costumes.
-DON'T bring real little ones if they are afraid of Halloween. When my son was 2, he thought the parade was scary and my parents had to take him back to our resort.
-DON'T forget to check your MNSSHP guide when you enter the park for times for parade, fireworks, dance parties, meet and greets and more!
Enjoy the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
