Hi there! This is my first time asking a question so I hope it doesn't sound dumb. My aunt and I (both adult guests) are going to WDW in January 2017. Is there anything you do on the morning of your departure day to lift your spirits?

Hi Caiti! Welcome to our site and I hope we can help you with all your planning questions. Trust me no question is dumb and things change so often at Walt Disney World that we work hard to keep up with the new experiences.

You are correct in that departure day is a bit of a downer after having such a wonderful vacation. My family likes to choose a character breakfast at our resort or close by. Seeing our favorite Disney friends seems to make us smile just a little bit more. If your flight or plans allow consider booking one of these as many ofthe resorts host them. Check out the list of breakfast Character Dining and choose one that is held in a resort such as the Beach Club, Contemporary, and the Grand Floridian.

If you can't book a character breakfast then simply head to breakfast at your resort. Ask each family member to list their three favorite experiences and enjoy the laughing that it will bring to everyone. Look through the photos you might have taken or purchased and enjoy the memories you made.  But best of all start your planning for your next Disney vacation!
