First, thanks for all of your phenomenal replies. We are giving my 7YO daughter a Disney vacation (land 4 days and sea 4 days) for her birthday. We are planning on utilizing the phone call; but are looking for ideas on presentation to make it memorable.

    Hi  Damian!

Wow! It sounds like you have planned an incredible 7th birthday surprise for your darling princess. While a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is fabulous on its own, you've really gone "overboard" in the best way possible by adding a Disney Cruise Line vacation, too. This is sure to be a special celebration she'll remember forever.

We have pulled-off a few vacation reveals with my kiddos and they are always a fun way to begin the magic. One year we filled a big box with balloons and once our oldest opened it a sign came out that announced our trip. A different trip we had a custom puzzle made out of one of our prior vacation photos with a note on the back of the pieces. While both of these were fun and got a great reaction, our favorite method so far was creating an exciting scavenger hunt for the kiddos to partake in. We hid clues all around the house leading to the next and so on until it finally lead to the last clue giving away our pixie-dusted surprise. I'll never forget the excitement, anticipation and squeals of joy growing with each clue.

Another option would be to check with Disney Floral & Gifts to see if they may be able to create a custom gift basket to be sent to your residence before your vacation. Whatever you choose, I'm sure the surprise, as well as the vacation, will be filled with Disney magic.
