First of all THANK YOU THANK YOU .To you and the others who blog and help people plan there family vacations. ?? where is the best spot to be to see the illuminations show. This our family's first trip to DW. I have a 4 yr old and want to make this PERFECT

    Julie!

You are so kind! We love helping people (honestly, we just love talking about Disney period--so this is the best way to do it!).

Let's see...the very best place to see Illuminations? Well, anywhere right around the World Showcase Lagoon will do it for you. I've seen it from so many different places (even with an obstructed view under a tree!) and everything is still a pretty good seat!

Honestly, I don't have a perfect place to view it. I've watched it from Japan, from the entrance of the World Showcase and the American Adventure.  A few times, I've staked out the private viewing areas (you can notice them because they have gates leading into them...or you might see a private party in there already!) and then sat close to those---they are automatic good views!

Of course the best tip for viewing is just get a seat early! About an hour before the show, grab a nice dinner or snack, a light up toy and sit down wherever you see a good view of the lagoon. You'll have the perfect view and a nice relaxing time!

Please let me know if you have any more questions!
