First, thank you for all the great advice! This is our 3rd trip in 4 years and I always check out this panel prior to our trips! SO HELPFUL!! Anyway, I was wondering what is the best way to get from POR-RS to FW for horseback riding and fishing in the am?

    Hi Lynn!

Thank you for the compliment on the panel.  All of us on the Disney Parks Moms Panel enjoy helping guests plan out there magical Disney vacation.

To get from Port Orleans Riverside to Fort Wilderness, I suggest taking the bus from Port Orleans to the Magic Kingdom.  Don't worry; you won't need a park ticket as you won't actually go inside the theme park.  From the Magic Kingdom take the boat to Fort Wilderness.  It is a fun and relaxing way to get there.  That said, a slightly faster way would be to take a bus to the first theme park that arrives at Port Orleans Riverside; then transfer to a bus going to Fort Wilderness.  Buses going to Fort Wilderness sometimes stop at the Wilderness Lodge but they are right next to each other.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
