You can get married in Walt Disney World! There are endless options and many vacation packages are available.
We renewed our vows for our 10th anniversary in WDW. In the morning, we had pictures taken at the Grand Floridian and rode in Cinderella’s Coach to the Wedding Pavilion for our ceremony. We had our guests greet us outside. While we took pictures beside the footmen and beautiful horses, our guests were seated. It was a little different but I wanted to make a grand entrance (and get my money’s worth) out of the Coach.
The ceremony in the Wedding Pavilion has a view of Cinderella’s Castle. Afterward, we had more pictures, including on the nearby beach. Our guests were taken to the Grand Floridian’s Convention Center where our reception was at the Whitehall Room and Patio.
Our ride back to the reception was via Cinderella’s Coach. As we went through the courtyard of the Grand Floridian, people were waving to us from their balconies.
Before we boarded the Coach, we were asked what beverages we would like to have waiting for us. We entered the elegant foyer where we found sitting atop a beautiful tray, our requested beverages. It was these magical touches that were outstanding. We had a lovely reception. The monorail would go by and people would wave to us while we were on the patio. Mickey Mouse danced with everyone and helped us cut our cake.
Your special day doesn't have to end quietly. Consider a dessert party. We held a private IllumiNations dessert party at the United Kingdom Terrace in Epcot.
The Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings Department exceeded all of our expectations. On your event day, your Event Manager and “magical helpers” will be wearing headsets to communicate so everything is timed perfectly. It’s modern-day magic at its best. See this
link for a brochure and DVD planning kit. You will be limited only by your dreams…and your budget.
