Welcome aboard, Courtney!
Dining is one of the activities that my family looks forward to whenever we cruise with Disney on the high seas. The food selection is top notch and it's paired with such spectacular service provided by your dedicated dining team. You'll get to know them pretty well, since they'll be following you throughout your dining room rotation every night.
You can start heading over to your
assigned restaurant for the evening anytime between 5:30-6pm for first seating. For a nice sit down dinner offering at least 3 courses, I suggest planning for about an hour or so in the dining room. It's a leisurely pace, but with kids at your table, the dining team can also adjust (and speed up the pace) for the kids' meals to come out earlier. Just like other parents, we'll try our best to enjoy every course during dinner. So, if that means feeding the kids first and getting them to the youth clubs - we'll do just that. You can request for the kids' meals to come out first, so that they can finish early... then one of the adults, can take a 10 minute break to drop them off at the youth clubs. Then it's back to a leisurely pace at dinner for Mom and Dad :-).
Don't forget about the evening
Broadway-style show at 8:30pm at the Walt Disney Theater. Pretty awesome family entertainment that every member of your family can appreciate. It's Dinner and a Show on the Disney Cruise Line every night!
I hope this helps, Courtney. Please let us know if you have any additional questions that we can help with.
