Our first runDisney event will be this years Wine & Dine 10k. Can you tell us what to expect over the race weekend? We'll be there Nov 2nd-6. 3 day hopper. What arecrowds like? What is race morning like? Ect

    Hi David!

Thank you for bringing your question tot he Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You've picked a great weekend!  Wine and Dine Half Marathon is my favorite runDisney event.

Crowd levels during this weekend are generally very mild.  The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will be taking place at Epcot. I highly recommend visiting that park during your trip.

Race mornings begin early, but they are a lot of fun!  I recommend getting to the starting area no later than 4:30 a.m.  Buses will be running to and from all Walt Disney World Resorts, usually starting at 3 a.m. At the start you will find a DJ playing some great "warm-up" music, photo opportunities with some Disney characters and a very upbeat, exciting atmosphere. You will receive a clear bag during packet pick-up that you can use to check-in at the start and pick back up after the race if there are things you don't want to carry during the run.

I also recommend blocking out a few hours to shop at the Health and Fitness Expo. I think you will definitely want to spend time looking around at the wonderful products from the vendors. It's a runner's shopping paradise!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
