Do you have any first responder discounts for ticket purchases

Hi there, Wendi. Thank you for taking the time to stop by planDisney.

This pandemic has forced us healthcare workers and first responders into unchartered territories in our professional lives. This probably sounds silly, but when work gets stressful, I find it “therapeutic” to wanderlust and plan upcoming vacations to give me something to look forward to. Of course, there’s something magical about Disney vacations!

Unfortunately, there is not a first responder discount directly through Disneyland Resort. However, larger chain hotels sometimes offer first responder and healthcare worker discounts. On a family trip to Disneyland Resort this past summer, I was able to take advantage of a healthcare worker discount through Hyatt.

Additionally, I suggest checking with your employer to see if they offer any discounts for Disney vacations. I work as an RN for a university health system and my employer offers discounts at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. It’s definitely worth asking and checking out with your HR department!

I hope this information is helpful for you, Wendi, and thank you for the important work that you do! As you continue planning your upcoming trip, please swing by planDisney again if you have more questions.

    Have an enchanting day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
