    First, I have purchased the Genie+ with my tickets, but when I login, I keeps prompting me to buy Genie+. Why doesn't it recognize that I have this when I login?

    Hi Kirk! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

    If you're seeing the "Purchase" button at the top of your Disneyland mobile app for Genie+, you're not alone. It's currently always there at the top of the homepage. But if you are looking to confirm whether you have Genie+ already or not, it's easy to double-check. I can walk you through how to do that.

    First, you can check your purchase confirmation e-mail. The confirmation e-mail receipt will say if you purchased Genie+. If you don't have your e-mail, you can also check in the app. Tap the three-bar menu at the bottom of the app to bring up a series of tiles. Tap "Tickets and Passes." You should be able to swipe through all the admission tickets linked to your account on the next page. "Disney Genie+" will be in the title if you purchased Genie+ when selecting your tickets.

    If it's not there and you wanted that option but somehow didn't select it, don't panic! Our family loves this option too. Spending less time waiting and more time focused on having fun together is really important to us, but you still have a chance to purchase Genie+ once you've scanned into the parks. I do this regularly. You'll simply tap "Purchase" at the top of the app to begin the transaction after you've entered the parks. Prices are subject to change. There's a chance Genie+ will sell out on very popular days, but if you arrive in the morning, the chances of that are much less. You don't want to miss out on a minute of magic anyway, so arriving early is always a great idea.

    Another time saver on the app is the Mobile Order option. We use this while we're waiting in queues to order our food from a favorite Quick Service location by selecting a pick-up window, and we pick it up after we're done riding. It's so handy. Especially with little ones in tow, who want to eat the minute they're hungry.
