Greetings, Erin! I am so excited for you! I remember planning my first trip as a parent for my son, and I welled up with tears the first time we stepped into Magic Kingdom park!
I’ve seen the Honeybee trailer, and it’s pretty nifty! I’m so glad you checked the measurements against
Walt Disney World Resort Park regulations, but I want to make sure you checked to measure the front wheel, too! With busy crowds in each park, as well as Disney Springs, you may find the front protuberance more than cumbersome. I own a few trailers, and those with blunt nose are easier for me to navigate the parks and not skin the heels of the person in front of me!
That being the case, I love either to bring my double stroller from home (I find it flies free on most airlines) or even better, to rent from a Disney recommended service like Kingdom Strollers. After arriving at our Resort with more baggage than we can carry, having a stroller waiting at the Bellhop’s stand is fabulous. It’s always set up with cooler, rain cover, and family name tag. They are always in good condition and fold up nicely for those bus, monorail, and Magic Kingdom train rides, even when it’s crowded.
You can also visit the
Stroller Rental stands in each of Disney’s 4 Theme Parks and
Disney Springs to rent a stroller for the length of stay, which is cheaper than a daily rental, but keep in mind that you will not be able to remove them from the parks. You won’t have a stroller in your Resort room unless you rent from a third party or bring yours from home.
I hope this helps you choose which stroller is right for your magical vacation. Please return to ask me another question! ~Lindsey P.
