Bright Suns Erika,
Welcome back to planDisney! First Order supporters will find that Batuu is a great place to commune with like-minded individuals and scope out members of the Resistance.
At
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you can explore many incredible experiences that are a dream, no matter what allegiance you declare. Blast off on a smuggling mission on the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Then participate in the climatic battle against the First Order in
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. I know the First Order calls you, but this attraction will allow you to get up close and personal with First Order officers and Kylo Ren (you might also start to favor the Resistance a little). Take a break from the streaming Batuu sun and all the fun attractions to enjoy exotic concoctions, the mixes of DJ R-3X, and a moment’s rest at
Oga’s Cantina. Here you can find all manner of outlaws, including smugglers, traders, and bounty hunters. If you can’t get a reservation for Oga’s, you can sample yummy Outer Rim treats such as Fried Enorian Chicken Tip Yip at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo (finish up with my favorite, the Outpost Puff for dessert). Don’t miss out on the
Milk Stand and engage in the most significant debate of the galaxy; are you team Blue Milk or Green Milk (I’m firmly team Blue)? My final two can’t miss experiences to add to your experience are the
Droid Depot and
Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers. These incredible experiences are out-of-this-world, and any Star Wars superfan will be amazed.
For me, Erika, no visit is complete without just finding a spot in Batuu and watching the Stormtroopers patrol Black Spire Outpost. It is always a sight to be seen, and sometimes I’ve even spotted Captain Phasma leading the charge. I think she must be in trouble with Kylo Ren because she doesn’t appear often (although he is more likely found wandering), but sometimes she appears. Just keep your eyes peeled for scurring Resistance fighters; you might be surprised. I wish you great fortune in your upcoming visit to Batuu. There is so much to explore there that I couldn’t tell you everything in this one answer. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning!
