First off thanks for all you do on the panel!!!. I was wondering if you needed reservations to drink at the bar in the California Grill? We are staying at the Contemporary and thought about having a few drinks before our anniversary dinner at Yachtsman's

    Hello Kelly,

That is so funny that you had the exact same question as I did today.  We are vacationing right now in Walt Disney World and I am meeting someone for drinks in a few days and was also wanting to go to the California Grill at the Contemporary.  I knew that they had a bar/lounge but I was not sure if we needed reservations so I called the trusty WDW information line and spoke with a very friendly cast member who answered this question for me and now I will relay it forward to you.  You do not need reservations for the bar/lounge, only for actual tables do you need a reservation.  I also found out that you can bring a minor in as long as they don't drink alcoholic beverages....of course!!! (although this doesn't seem to be something you are needing to know, but maybe others are so I will mention it!).  I also found out that you can order appetizers if you would like a quick snack before your anniversary dinner.  Have a magical anniversary at the happiest place on earth!

    Best wishes
