First off - LOVE the panel! Second - going to both waterparks in August and was wondering where we could eat after the park closes. We are taking the resort bus transportation and thought maybe AKL would be a great place to dine? Your thoughts :)

Hi Shannon, I'm glad that you are enjoying the Moms Panel...we love helping Guests plan their vacations!

After enjoying the Water Parks, you could plan on enjoying a Table Service meal in any of the Resorts or at Downtown Disney. Heading to the Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great plan, as you can explore the Resort before and after dinner. The animals on the Savanna are always a treat, and the lobby is breathtaking.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge has 3 wonderful Table Service Restaurants for dinner. In fact, BOMA, is one of our favorite restaurants in all of Disney World. This wonderful buffet has great variety, including delicious dishes with an African flair and a fantastic fresh fruit and salad bar. The kids buffet is great. Be sure to try out a "Zebra Dome" for dessert...they are not-to-be-missed. The other two restaurants, JIKO and SANAA are also top-notch.

For our upcoming trip in October, we actually have dinner at Boma booked for after our Water Park day. You know what they say, great minds think alike ;) .

Hope this helps and that you have a magical vacation!
