FIrst off , I LOVE the Mom's Panel. It has helped me tremendously with the planning of my vacation. My question is We are staying at the WL from Feb 7-12 and are having breakfast at Ohana. How long should I allow for transportation between places?

Hi James! So glad the panel members have been able to help with your vacation planning!  We have such a passion for Walt Disney World and our goal is to make each guest have as memorable a time there as we have had in our past visits!

Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful resort and a favorite of ours.  We love the atmosphere and the feel of being inside Yellowstone National Park which is another of our favorite destinations!  To reach the Polynesian for breakfast you will have several choices.  You can catch a boat to the Magic Kingdom and then transfer to the local resort monorail or the Polynesian boat taxi at this point depending on the time of day. I would certainly plan on about 45 minutes if you chose this option and always add more time for waiting on boats and monorails etc.

Your second choice would be to take a bus to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then walk to the main Polynesian house where Ohana's is located or hop on the local monorail from here. This would take about 30 minutes with walking taking a bit longer.

A final choice is via taxi and that would just take a few minutes but it will cost you where the Disney transportation is complementary.

I suggest you give yourself an hour when taking Disney transportation. Its fun to then get there early and explore this great resort.  I prefer to be early to my reservations and not have a lot of stress getting there and worrying about the time.
