First off, I'd like to say you guys are doing a fantastic job! I was just wondering, how far are the Lion King Suites at the AOA from the bus stop? I'm traveling with an elder and need to know if I need to rent a scooter or wheelchair. Thanks in advance!(:

    Hi, Sara!

You are in for a real treat staying at the Art of Animation!  From a super pool to amazing food court, this resort is top notch.

The Lion King suites are not a far walk from Animation Hall where you will find the bus stop.  However, if you feel you will need a scooter or wheelchair for the parks anyway, you may want to consider RENTING A SCOOTER OR ECV FOR THE WEEK to save time renting one each day. This can be rented from an off-site vendor who will have it waiting for you at your resort.  It will be a convenient way to get around if you want to explore the Art of Animation resort.

If you will need accessible accommodations, call a friendly Disney Reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY to have this noted on your reservation.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation in Walt Disney World and a super time at Art of Animation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
