The first night in DW I'd like to bring my 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter to a character dinner they'd both be interested in any suggestions?

Hey Anita how exciting and what great ages your kids are for WDW.  My first suggestion for a character dining that would be appealing to both, would be Chef Mickey at the Contemporary.  It is a complete blast and the food is very good.
My girls are 14, 12 and 5 and it's still one of their very favorite character dining experiences.
Another great one that they both might enjoy would be at the Crystal Palace, located at MK.  Here your little ones can dine with Pooh and his friends from the 100 Acre Woods.  I always recommend this one for breakfast, as it's one of the best breakfast buffets at WDW.
I hope these suggestions help and that you all have a very magical vacation.
