    First let me say that I LOVE this panel as it's been a huge help planning our upcoming trip. I plan on buying the Cinderella Castle toy while we are there yet it's rather large to bring home. Did I read somewhere that it can be shipped home for me? Thanks!

    I'm so glad to hear that you've been getting helpful tips from my fellow panelists. They're a pretty awesome group of people!

    As for me, I'm a certified Disney shopaholic, so I was really excited to see your question!

    You're absolutely correct - you can have your purchases shipped back home directly from the gift shops at Walt Disney World. In fact, I just used this service last week when I was in Downtown Disney because I wanted to ship a souvenir to a friend across the country.

    All you have to do is tell the cast member at the cash register that you'd like to have your purchases shipped back home and they'll provide you with the necessary form to take care of it right there. It's such an awesome service if you're like me and find that you're out of room in your suitcases for any more souvenirs!

    Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

    For the home delivery services, Disney uses a flat-rate schedule for the shipping charges that's based on the value of the purchases (as opposed to charging by package weight). Keep that in mind when you're trying to figure out the most economical way to split-up or combine your souvenirs that you'd like to ship back home.
