First, do you know when 2025 reservations are available? Second, if planning a trip next year, how can I avoid booking on a date that either park will close early, like oogie boogie etc? Is there a calendar showing the 2025 dates for special events?

    Hiya Whitney,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.

As a fellow planner, I love that you are already looking into planning a visit for 2025! The Disneyland Resort will have many celebrations to look forward to next year, so I understand wanting to get the jump on booking a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package! At this time, Disneyland Vacation Packages and Disneyland Resort Hotel reservations dates are available for review through the end of 2024, and the Disneyland Resort has not announced when they will open up 2025 visit dates. Historically, the Disney Parks Blog makes this announcement in the summer, so be sure to follow them so you can be the first to know the exact date that the Disneyland Resort will open up dates to book a visit in 2025!

Guests can review the Hours & Events Calendar for park hours up to 60 days before the visit date. If you'd like to plan around upcoming celebrations, I would recommend viewing the celebration dates for 2024 and comparing them to upcoming dates next year. Oogie Boogie Bash takes place on most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from late August till Halloween. Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts' Nite takes place in late January until Valentine’s Day. I would encourage you to review the dates this past year and compare them to when they may occur again in 2025. While we may not have the exact dates for 2025, they will first be announced on the Disney Parks Blog, so I encourage you to follow along and see when these event dates are announced.

Tip from Tiffany: Did you know that Guests who have added Park Hopper to their ticket can hop back and forth between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park starting at 11:00 AM PST (subject to change)? Adding Park Hopper is great because even if there is a special-ticketed event going on in one park, you’ll be able to hop right over to the other (subject to capacity) and enjoy the rest of your evening! If you have already purchased tickets, all you need to do is upgrade them with the help of a friendly Cast Member on the Tickets line. If not, you can always add them before finishing your purchase!

If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
