Ahoy, Isis!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited that you've chosen Disney Cruise Line to celebrate your hubby's 30th birthday! My husband has celebrated more than one of his birthdays while sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey, and had such a fun time! In fact, one of my favorite photos of him was taken on his birthday which also happened to be
Pirate Night!
You can look forward to a two-night voyage packed with fun! During similar itineraries in previous years, Guests enjoyed themed nights/days for both
Halloween on the High Seas as well as Pirate Night. You can absolutely feel free to dress up in your own costumes that aren't Pirate-themed; many Guests choose to do this! The schedule in the past has had Halloween on the High Seas activities during the afternoon and Pirate Night during the evening on day one. On day two was Mickey's Mouse-querade Party. Mickey's Mouse-querade Party is typically when Guests dress in their spooktacular costumes! Please note that all schedules are subject to change, but this gives you an idea of when the themed activities might be on your cruise!
On our most recent Disney Cruise, my family wore matching pirate-themed T-shirts on Pirate Night. They were easy to pack and still made for a swashbuckling-fun family photo! You might consider doing something low key on Pirate Night and dressing up in costumes for Mickey's Mouse-querade Party!
Thanks so much for sailing by! I'm wishing you an unforgettable upcoming voyage!
