First half-day? MK half-day for night time parade/fireworks or have dinner at Polynesian and watch fireworks from the beach? With a 3 year old, not sure we'll make it late when we're at MK all day.

Greetings Cheri, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question.

Magic Kingdom Park is such a wonderful way to begin your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I looked up the Magic Kingdom Park hours and event times for your day of arrival, and currently it appears as if the fireworks and evening parades take place later on in the evening. Based on that, may I suggest your dinner idea at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort at either Kona Cafe or at 'Ohana. Certain areas at 'Ohana have spectacular views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle. If you decide on dinner at 'Ohana and wish to be placed in such an area, consult with the Cast Member at the podium upon check-in.

After dinner, you could head out to the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and enjoy the popular Electrical Water Pageant which floats by the resort at approximately 9:00 PM. As well, you will be captivated by the fireworks show over Cinderella Castle soon after and when all is done, you'll be a quick walk away from your luxurious Disney Resort hotel room.

Whatever you decide, Cheri, I'm certain you'll have the most magical experience and truly enjoy all the Disney Resort hotel Guest amenities too.

We look forward to any assistance you may need with your vacation in the near future.
