Do you have to use your first 3 fast passes in one park before going to next park?

Hey Kathrine, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your FastPass+ window is about to open - let's get planning!

Disney's FastPass+ service is a great way to plan your time at the Walt Disney World Resort. It allows you to hop on some of the most popular attractions with little to no wait, and gives you the flexibility to make changes as you go. So, let's hit the basics.

You can choose up to three FastPass+ attractions per day 60 days in advance if you're staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and your selections must all be in the same Theme Park. Once you've used them, you can make one additional selection at any Park, then another, and another for the rest of the day.

For example, say you're visiting Magic Kingdom Park and you have your three advance FastPass+ attractions there, but you want to go to Epcot later. Once you've tapped your MagicBand at your last FastPass+ attraction, you can open your My Disney Experience app and select a fourth FastPass+ for an available attraction in Epcot (or any other Park). Then, hop over to Epcot and hit your next attraction. Once you've done that, you can make yet another FastPass+ selection! You can keep making these "rolling" FastPass+ selections until Park close, as long as there are times available.

Of course, you'll need the Park Hopper option on your Theme Park tickets to make FastPass+ selections in additional Parks, so keep that in mind as you make your plans.

Kathrine, I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney days. If you need additional info about making FastPass+ selections, please stop by and see us again. We're happy to help!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
