First family vacation to Disney March 11 - 17, 2012. I already have our resort paid for, but am very confused on purchasing the tickets for the parks. need the most affordable, less stressful solution. all help is much appreciated.

    Hi Tanya,

Congratulations on your first family trip to Walt Disney World!

I would recommend looking at the ticket section at www.mousesavers.com. It has a great breakdown of all components of the tickets as well as some cost-saving measures.

Personally, I order tickets from www.undercovertourist.com at a discounted rate. The tickets arrived safely to our house, were completely legit, and the customer service was exemplary. On one occasion, we ended up not needing one of our tickets and were able to return it for a complete refund.

First, decide how many days you'll want to be in the WDW parks. Often, you can cross off arrival and departure day due to the exhausting nature of those days. Use your arrival day to tour your resort, go out for a nice meal, and/or visit Downtown Disney. On departure day, spend some time relaxing at the pool, visit Downtown Disney for some last minute shopping and/or visit a WDW hotel for a nice farewell meal.

After, you'll need to decide if park hoppers are needed for your family. If you'd like to be able to hop, for example, from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot, you'll need the park hopper add-on option. We find this option to be very handy as we often hop to the park open the latest on our touring day. Usually we visit one park in the morning, take a mid-day break at our hotel and then head to another park in the evening for a few activities, dinner and entertainment.

Please feel free to return with any additional questions. We're here to take the stress out of your planning!
