    This is our first family trip to WDW in 5/09.We were looking into going on a fishing excursion&are staying at POR & wondering is this a must do while we are here? My kids love to fish but my only concern is will they catch a lot to keep them intere

    Hi Tammy! I am actually from Wisconsin originally and I love to fish as well.....the northwoods influence I guess!

    I have vacationed and fished in May several times.  It seems to be a great month for the fishing and we caught a ton...15-20 bass each!  I used the fishing guides as they seem to know the best places for the moment and will help with the baiting and removing...something I have never gotten quite used to!

    I have not fished the waters by Port Orleans but would assume that the fishing would be just as good there in May as the other waters on property.  I am actually planning on fishing myself again in May during our visit.  To make reservations call 407-939-7529.  Good luck!
