For our first family trip this spring if our plane arrives at MCO at 12:55 and we're taking the DW transportation will we have time to get to a parade at MK that starts at 3:00? If so would we have time to check into Coronado on the way?

I really don't see how you could make it. If there were no hiccups, you might could see the tail end of the Festival of Fantasy Parade if your plane seats were near the door, you didn't carry any luggage but let Magic Express take it to your room, you had your MagicBands with you to enter the parks and you made a bee-line in the airport to a taxi to take you directly to the Ticket & Transportation Center to load the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. The parade doesn't get to the beginning of Main Street (where it ends) until about 3:15. . .  but you definitely wouldn't have time to check in at Coronado Springs on the way.

Honestly, I wouldn't want the stress nor let this be the first encounter with Disney. I have found that even on the best of days it takes me almost 30 minutes to get off the plane, ride its tram to the terminal and get to the transportation area of the Orlando airport. Using Magical Express, while economical, can take much longer than grabbing a taxi, as you not only wait for your bus to arrive and board, once you make it to Disney, you may stop at other resorts before yours. Magic Express does not stop at the theme parks.

If you need help with your schedule, come back and ask us how we can help. I wish y'all a magical vacation.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
