This is our first family trip to Disneyland and we would like to stay at a nice resort that is moderately priced and is close to the parks. We are on a budget and need some help, does anyone have any good suggestions about staying at one?

    Hello Eric!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

Staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel vs. staying off property can be such a treat! My favorite is the Disneyland Hotel with it’s fun fireworks style headboard! Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is another hotel that is on property that is a bit more budget friendly and has an amazing restaurant perfect for character dining called Disney’s PCH Grill. My boys love Stitch and sometimes he can be spotted here!

If staying off property helps the budget a bit more, my favorite Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotel is the Howard Johnson Anaheim. It has a fun pirate themed pool and you can request a room in their tower that would have a view of the Fireworks right from your room! It’s about a block and a half from the entrance to Disneyland Resort so it’s a bit more walking and you don’t get the extra magic hours that you can have by staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, but it is budget friendly and so close to the magic!

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
