We are going on our first family trip to Disney world and have heard that there are times of the year they have free dining plans. If we book our trip now how do we get the free dining plan?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dave!

Yes, you are correct that there have been Special Offers that have included a free dining plan promotion. Currently, there is a 2016 summer offer that includes a quick-service meal with a 4-night/5-day room and theme park ticket package. If you make your reservation now, and later see a special offer for your dates, you will need to rebook your entire reservation. I highly suggest speaking to a Disney Resort Hotel Reservation Specialist, who can assist you as each offer is unique and has its own terms, conditions and dates. It is also important to note that there are a limited number of rooms available for free dining promotions, so you need to act quickly when you see an offer that works for your family.

I hope this helps with your planning. Keep an eye on Special Offers and subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog E-Newsletter to stay up-to-date about upcoming opportunities that may be available during your visit.

    Happy Planning!
