We are going on our first family trip to Disney world this April 15th -20th 2012. I have a 6 and a 9yr old. How are the crowds there and temps at that time of year. I was hoping I was going to be getting in just as all the spring breaks are over.

    Hi Brenda!!!

Congratulations on your first family trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!!!  I know that you must be so excited!!!

You will be hitting the tail end of the Spring Break crowds, but the crowds should be very manageable compared to this week or next week.  Usually, there is a Spring Break window that is very crowded.  This usually falls between the week before Easter and then the week after Easter.

You can expect the high temperatures to be in the upper 80's and the lows in the mid 60's for your trip, which translates into very comfortable temperatures!!!  I think that you will be pleasantly surprised by both the crowds and the temperatures!!!

Wishing you a very special and magical first Walt Disney World Vacation!!
