    We are going on our first family trip to Disney in June and so excited!!! We have the dining plan and I am looking for a good table meal in the Magic Kingdom. I would like to stay in the park or at least just a monorail ride away. Thanks!

    Hi Misty!

    My family like the Crystal Palace (a buffet) and Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom.  However, they're not for everybody.  I suggest visiting the independent website AllEars.Net and looking at the menus for those two restaurants.  The team at AllEars does a great job keeping their menus up to date.

    If you don't mind leaving the Magic Kingdom, then I recommend Chef Mickey's for a character meal or 'Ohana or Kona Cafe in the Polynesian.  Both are great places, especially Kona Cafe which I think is a jewel. 

    Be sure to make an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) ahead of time.  You can make online reservations here.
